Join us this summer for new camp programs featuring pirate science!
Along with other wacky science explorations, we’ll take a special look at the secrets of surviving the high seas. We’ll study the biology of parrots and sea creatures, investigate the physics behind stealthy ships and learn the science of hiding and hunting treasure. Each day, you’ll learn a new buccaneer skill such as map-making, keeping your balance and reading the sky for signs of a storm. In voyages to the feature exhibition Treasure!, you’ll uncover the stories of adventure, mishaps and successes of fortune seekers past and present.

As always, our camps are led by top-notch staff, err…captains, and incorporate our interactive exhibits, hands-on experiments, explosive demos and a giant screen movie experience. All participants will take home a souvenir T-shirt.

Please enrol in an age-appropriate crew:

• Ragamuffins (completing grades 1 and 2 June 2010)
• Scallywags (completing grades 3 and 4 June 2010)
• Swashbucklers (completing grades 5 and 6 June 2010)
